Oldenburg/Prenzlau, 19. March 2010 - aleo solar AG today announced that it is recording strong demand for its aleo S_18 sol modules on the French market. This module type was developed especially for the French solar market and has a custom frame. "Our aleo S_18 sol module is the ideal product for roof-integrated solar power systems," explains Adrian Darragon, director Sales France. "Since the aleo S_18 sol satisfies the required dual purpose of energy generation and rooftop coverage, operators can deploy it to secure a feed-in subsidy of 0.58 EUR per kilowatt-hour."
The modules are now being deployed both for small and mid-sized power systems. "Just a few weeks ago, we brought one of the largest rooftop facilities in the Paris metropolitan area using aleo S_18 sol modules online," reported Jean-Michel Dohm, CEO of aleo authorized dealer Easysolar. Sited in Armentières en Brie, the photovoltaic power plant has a rated output of 150 kilowatts. For smaller facilities of up to 3 kilowatts, however, the aleo kit_3000 is the preferred system. This all-in-one package includes the specially-framed aleo modules plus an SMA inverter and a Solrif mounting system for in-roof power systems. "aleo solar's products and comprehensive service make an impressive package," explains Jean-Michel Dohm. "As an authorized aleo specialist dealer, we receive support ranging from facility design to after sales."
Following the opening of its branch office at Aix-en-Provence in October last year, aleo solar has since enjoyed a steady increase in sales volume. "The combination of our premium modules and our partnership with the inverter manufacturer SMA means we are superbly positioned to serve the needs of the French market," said Norbert Schlesiger, director Sales at aleo solar AG. "Our customers greatly appreciate this close proximity to a module manufacturer with its own sales team."
